ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

Happe Lifestyle (Having A Positive Powerful Experience) is a community-based nonprofit focused on creating pathways to employment, purpose, and stability for individuals facing housing insecurity.

Our approach centers on real opportunities, clear expectations, and hands-on support that help individuals move forward with dignity.

Rather than offering short-term solutions, Happe Lifestyle focuses on building skills, restoring confidence, and strengthening connections to the community through work.

OUR ORIGIN

The idea for Happe Lifestyle emerged from a life-changing moment during the founder’s competitive road cycling years.

In 2007, while racing in a state championship event, George Craker III suffered a catastrophic crash when his bicycle handlebar snapped just before the finish line. The accident left him with multiple broken bones, a traumatic brain injury, severe wounds and infections, and a long, uncertain recovery.

During the darkest parts of that recovery, he made a conscious decision: his suffering would not define him. Instead, he chose to seek meaning and growth within the hardship, holding onto the belief that even in the worst adversity, he would Have A Positive Powerful Experience. That mindset became the foundation for everything he would later build.

George’s recovery involved relearning skills, rebuilding strength, and finding the determination to move forward day by day. It also required the encouragement and belief of others who supported him through the process. Those same elements—practical support, steady encouragement, and real opportunity—are the foundation of what Happe Lifestyle now provides to individuals facing housing insecurity.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to support individuals facing housing insecurity by providing workforce development opportunities and life coaching that lead to long-term stability. Everything we do is rooted in the belief that stability grows through consistency, accountability, and meaningful work.

Changing lives is our objective. We help people move beyond mere survival.
