PARTNERSHIP WITH HAPPE LIFESTYLE

Harrisburg Academy’s Kindergarten students recently explored the understanding that some individuals—both locally and globally—do not have a safe place to call home. Students were invited to reflect on an important question: What can you do to help someone without a shelter? In response, students organized a donation drive in support of The Happe Lifestyle, collecting blankets and hand warmers. Through this experience, students demonstrated the power of empathy, action, and community.
